In the remote regions of the Bolivian Amazon, where water still sets the rhythm, the pirarucu lives in its untouched wild state.
Access to its skin is neither constant nor assumed. Its fishing is carefully regulated and entrusted to Indigenous communities, who sustain their livelihoods through ecological balance, guided by ancestral knowledge and quiet respect for nature.
Once permitted by nature and community, each hide is secured and prepared in its purest natural state in Bolivia, through Máximo Leather — our founding origin house and vertically integrated sourcing arm — ensuring sovereign control from river to atelier, before being entrusted to Italy for its final transformation.
There is no continuous production.
Each piece exists only when permitted.
Editions are limited by cultural and environmental intention.
